Beginning with Silvestrov's meditative cello solo, this spring time program takes you on a journey from Ukraine through America, Belgium and ends in Russia with Rachmaninoff's impossibly lush and exuberant cello sonata. This program will premiere composer Domenic Salerni’s Seven Meditations for piano trio, in The Belvedere Series’ first commissioned work.
