Ingrid Keller

Piano

Ingrid Keller is the Founding Artistic Director of the Belvedere Series and maintains a dynamic career as a recitalist, collaborative pianist, and educator. Her performances have been praised as “a revelation in musical excellence” (Oakwood Register) and “an unforgettable experience” (Berkshire Gazette). She has appeared in prominent venues across the U.S., including the Kennedy Center, Boston’s Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall, the Banff Centre, and Tanglewood, as well as internationally.

A sought-after collaborator, Keller has performed with the Mark Morris Dance Group and with members of the Cincinnati Symphony, Boston Symphony, Dayton Philharmonic, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Richmond Symphony. She has shared the stage with celebrated artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Dawn Upshaw, Leonidas Kavakos, and Joe Burgstaller.

Equally adept in instrumental, vocal, and operatic repertoire, Keller has served on the music staff of Indianapolis Opera and the Oberlin in Italy program. Dedicated to innovative programming, she presented a solo piano rendition of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring as part of an interdisciplinary collaboration in music, dance, and fashion for the University of Dayton’s ArtsAlive series.

Keller has held academic appointments at the College of William and Mary, University of Dayton, Northern Kentucky University, University of Oregon, and the University of Richmond. From 2019 to 2022, she was staff pianist for the Richmond Symphony. Her recording with tenor Jason Vest, Evening Hours: Songs of Richard Hundley, was released on Roven Records in 2018.

She earned her doctorate at Indiana University under the guidance of the legendary pianist Menahem Pressler. Since 2016, she has called Richmond, Virginia home, where she lives with her husband Nathan and their two daughters, Clara and Phoebe.
