Belvedere’s Salon Series opens this weekend at the historic Marburg House with the award-winning Merz Trio. Known for their “stunning virtuosity” (Reading Eagle) and “entrancing” artistry (BBC Music Magazine), the Trio presents Clara’s Blumentagebuch—a program inspired by Clara Schumann’s flower diary, weaving together works by the Schumanns, Brahms, Schubert, Beethoven, and contemporary composer Loren Loiacono. An intimate and unforgettable start to three weekends of unparalleled chamber music.
