Pianist Jessica Xylina Osborne enjoys an illustrious and diverse career, performing alongside some of the classical music world’s biggest stars including Hilary Hahn, Ani Kavafian, and Timothy Eddy, among many others. In addition to appearing at some of the world’s top concert halls – including Carnegie Hall, the Seoul Arts Center, and the Kennedy Center – she has had the opportunity to perform at many unique and interesting venues across the globe. Ms. Osborne pursues ambitious projects that reflect creativity in programming with the goal of highlighting social justice issues. She enjoys pairing well-known audience favorites with music being written today, in addition to bringing attention to music written by composers that have historically been overlooked or marginalized within the classical music canon. Ms. Osborne received her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the Juilliard School and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, her Master of Music degree from Rice University, and her Doctorate of Musical Arts from Yale University. Her teachers and mentors include her mother Patricia Osborne, Dr. Marjorie Lee, MarFn Canin, Seymour Lipkin, Emile Naoumoff, Jon Kimura Parker, and Claude Frank. Ms. Osborne currently resides in the Boston area, where she is on the piano and collaborative piano faculty at Longy School of Music of Bard College.
