The Belvedere Series proudly unveils its highly anticipated fourth season, a celebration of “top-flight programming, playing, and musicianship” (ArtsFuse Magazine) and hailed as “One of the jewels of the Richmond music scene” (Style Weekly). With each passing year, the series has grown into a vibrant platform for both timeless classics and innovative contemporary works. Under the artistic direction of Ingrid Keller, the Series has embraced a varied range of themes, goals, and directions while maintaining its unwavering commitment to excellence and the cultivation of creativity and curiosity within the community. 

In Richmond, The Belvedere Series has become a haven where old and new worlds of music intertwine, allowing for a dynamic dialogue between reverence for tradition and the spirit of artistic exploration. Season IV promises to continue this tradition with exceptional performances and exciting new works that will captivate both longtime devotees and new audiences alike.

Experience three world premieres from highly decorated, acclaimed composers - Zachary Wadsworth, Polina Nazaykinsaya, and Kati Agócs 

GRAND CONCERT EVENTS 
These high profile concerts will feature breathtaking performances, including the groundbreaking string quartet OWLS, declared ‘A dream group’ by the NYTimes, a world premiere by Guggenheim Fellow Kati Agócs, and our largest ensemble yet, featuring the dynamic and fiery Mustonen Nonet with an all-star ensemble. 

SALON SERIES ~ The Heart of the Series: Our House Concerts at the Marburg House Step into the charm of the Marburg House, the oldest standing structure in the Carillon/Byrd Park neighborhood, and enjoy an unforgettable evening. Mingle with friends, sip on a glass of wine, indulge in light nibbles, and experience extraordinary music in the intimate setting of this historic home. This season, we’re thrilled to feature a special recital by Grammy Award-winning tenor Karim Sulayman, bringing his exceptional artistry to our welcoming space.
